A laborer buried alive in Bilaspur

A laborer belonged to Jharkhand died another sustain injuries as they burried inside a landslide in mishap occurred at Kothipura near electricity office of AIIMS Bilaspur this morning, senior police officer confirmed.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bilaspur Mr Rajkumar said that mushap took place when some workers are engaged in construction work of new sub station of Electricity board near the AIIMS Hospital at Kothipura, Bilaspur this morning.
 During the construction work a sudden landslide occurred and two migrant laborers were hit by the debris, he said.  
With help of local people laborers were brought out of the rubble and rushed to the regional hospital, Bilaspur, where one laborer died and the other laborer suffered serious injuries, whose treatment is going on in the hospital. 
 Victims  are said to be residents of Jharkhand, who had come to Bilaspur to work.
  DSP Bilaspur Rajkumar said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, the police team reached the spot and the matter is being investigated by interrogating other laborers and employees of the electricity department to probe for negligence of endangering the life of workers
