A contingent of Scouts and Guides will participate in the Republic Day Parade in Shimla

Bharat Scouts and Guides Himachal Pradesh contingent will participate in the state-level Republic Day parade to be organized at the Ridge Ground in Shimla. State Secretary of Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Raj Kumar said that the selection process for participating in this parade was held in November last year in which 140 Rovers and Rangers from 27 colleges of Himachal Pradesh participated. Out of which 31 Rovers and 31 Rangers were selected to participate in the Republic Parade.
He said that to prepare for the state-level Republic Day Parade, a camp has been organized at Government Girls College, Shimla from January 20. In which all Rovers and Rangers are participating. 11 staff and 11 service Rovers Rangers have been deployed in this camp for the preparation of Rovers and Rangers. He said that proper arrangements have been made for accommodation and food for the participants coming from various colleges.
Dr. Rajkumar said that to inculcate the feeling of discipline, dutifulness, hard work, and patriotism among the students, Scouts and Guides Himachal Pradesh services have been started in all the degree colleges and senior secondary schools of the state in which the youth are participating enthusiastically.
