55 p c population of HP administered 2nd jab of Covid Vaccine
Himachal Pradesh claimed cent per cent coverage of first dose of Covid Vaccine now achieved another milestone by achieving 55 per cent
Spokespersons of Health Department said here today that it has achieved 55.6 per cent of double dose of vaccinatation of eligible population in the state.
He said that effective COVID-19 vaccination played a important role to control the COVID-19 pandemic in the State to large extent.
Around 30,71,853 people have been given the 2nd dose of vaccine so far in the state out of 55 lakh 23 thousand eligible people pollution.
Spokesperson said that under the covid-19 vaccination campaign, Kinnaur figured top district in Country by achieving 102.8 percent target in immunization of the eligible population for the 2nd dose .
District Lahaul-Spiti is 2nd by achieving 82.1 per cent target while district Solan remains third by achieving 73.6 percent target.
He said that district Bilaspur Administered 64.7 percent, Chamba 42.5 percent, Hamirpur 56.7 percent, Kangra 51.1 percent, Kullu 53.6 percent, Mandi 51.8 percent, Shimla 60.9 pc, Sirmaur 44 percent and District Una 61.3 percent.
The spokesperson has urged all the eligible people who have received the first dose to get their second dose at the earliest as soon as the prescribed time period for the 2nd dose is over.
He cautioned the people that even after vaccination, they should maintaining mutual distance like washing hands with soap or cleaning with sanitizer and using mask etc. should be strictly followed.
