3rd IRB of state police commorates 17 th foundation day
Third Indian Reserve Battalion Pandoh in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh commorate 17th Foundation Day in the Corps area on Friday. DIG of Central Division Mr. Madhusudan Sharma took the gaurd of honour and salute of the grand parade. , During the function, Shri Bhagat Singh Thakur, Commander, 3rd India Reserve Corps presented the administrative report of the Corps in front of all the staff and dignitaries. On this occasion, a grand parade alumni of the 3rd IRB performed cultural program, and participated in volleyball match. An exhibition was also organized by State Disaster and Response Force Unit, Pandoh, Mandi. Apart from this, a blood donation camp was also organized in Vahini with the help of District Hospital Mandi, in which Vahini employees participated enthusiastically. Extended his best wishes to all employees for maintaining excellence, chief guest encouraged the employees of the battalion to excell in various fields, including departmental courses and sports competitions. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Mandi Mrs. Shalini Agnihotri, Mr. Sushant Deputy Superintendent of Police, State Intelligence Department Unit Mandi and especially Mr. O.C. Thakur, retired Inspector General of Police, Mr. D.P. Sharma, retired Inspector General of Police and Mr. Jograj Jaryal, Retired Additional Superintendent of Police and other gazetted officers and employees of the Corps and distinguished guests from other departments were also present.
