2 new polling centers will be built in the District Shimla

Meeting was held today regarding randomization of voting centers in the district chairmanship of District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap. Members of accredited political parties were also present in the meeting.

District election officer said proposal to build 02 new polling centers in district Shimla. He said this proposal was received from Rohdu assembly constituency of District Shimla. Out of this Katsari voting center has been divided into 2 parts.

New polling centre Shalan has been added along with polling station Katsari. In addition to this, the polling center has now been divided into 2 parts of the voting center with state primary school kitarwari has now been made the second polling center.

Anupam Kashyap said in addition to this, 09 polling centers have been shifted to another buildings during randomization in district Shimla. He said the buildings in these polling centers have been relocated due to decay conditions or lack of assured minimum facilities.

He said Chaupal assembly constituency voting center Bhaut’s building state secondary school Bhaut in state primary school Bhaut, voting center Baghar’s building state primary school Baghar chowki to state secondary school Baghar chowki, voting center Bholala’s building state secondary school Bholala Primary school Bholala and voting center Jhokhar’s building has been shifted from State Senior Secondary School Jhokhar to State Primary School Jhokhar.

Similarly, Kusumpati assembly constituency’s voting center Chakdayal’s Bhattakufar has been shifted to Panchayat Bhawan Bhattakufar. State Senior Secondary School Tutu of Shimla Rural Assembly constituency voting center Majthai-2 has been transferred to State Primary School Bharayal, he said. Jubbal Kotkhai assembly constituency voting center Giltadi has been shifted to Panchayat house Giltadi from Navyuvak Mandal Bhavan Giltadi. Rohdu assembly constituency voting center Rantadi’s Bhavan State Primary School Bartu to State Senior Secondary School Bartu and Voting Center Lakakakyani’s Bhavan State Secondary School Bartu and Voting Center Lakakakyani has been shifted from State Secondary School Lakadhar.

Deputy Tehsildar Kanungo and other officials from the election department were present on this occasion.
