2.8 magnitude earthquake tremor jolts the hills of Kullu
A 2.8 magnitude tremor jolted the hills of Kullu district in this North Western Himalayan state on Monday morning, Indian Meteorological Department said in a press communication.
IMD spokesperson said that tremor jolted parts of Kullu district at 0718hrs having epicenter at the latitude of 31.46 and Longitude of 77.64 and depth of five kilometres in Himachal Pradesh.
The Magnitude of tremor recorded 2.8 on the Richter scale. No loss of life and property recorded due to the impact of tremor. It was felt by the local people as the epicenter was near the human habitation.
