With heavy rain South West monsoon enters Himachal

South West Monsoon entered in modt places  of Himachal Pradesh on June 29 which is delayed by three or four days of normal schedule, Indian Meterogical Department spokesperson said here today. Last year Monsoon was entered on June 13, 2021. Southwest monsoon 2022 has advanced in Himachal Pradesh today dated 29.06.2022 with a delay of about 3-4 days .In last 20 years it was entered on 9th June 2000 and delayed on  4th July 2002..With heavy rain shower  lashing most places of state Wednesday monsoon set on in most places state as  Mandi, Hamirpur, Solan and Kangra district received heavy to very heavy rainfall.  The Indian meteorological Department stated here today that south West Monsoon entered in most parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and active all over state  in next 24 hours. Mandi district at very heavy rainfall which is continue as Sarkaghat had 109 millimeter rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rainfall also occurred in other parts of Mandi, Kangra, Solan and  Hamirpur district in state.  State capital the state capital Shimla receiving in season train since morning which affected the normal Bhoranj in Hamirpur had 100 mm rain,Sujanpur Tira 84 mm, Baldwara (Kangra) 72 mm, In Mehre 63 mm, Dehra Gopipur  54 mm, Shimla 48.4 mm, 

Palampur 48 Pandoh(Mandi), 

Bilaspur 39.2, Nadaun 39 mm and Arki 34 mm. In view of advance of monsoon , widespread rainfall very likely to continue in low and middle hill areas of Himachal Pradesh viz. district. Sirmaur , Solan , Shimla , Bilaspur , Hamirpur , Mandi , Kullu , Kangra , Chamba and adjoining areas during next 48-72 hrs . Moderate to heavy rainfall with isolated spells of very heavy rainfall also likely to occur in the mentioned districts during the above period. Light to moderate rainfall likely to continue in remaining parts of the state in subsequent days. Met office issued advisory  to take adequate safety measures. Following impacts reduced visibility conditions in most parts of the state causing difficulty in commute. Increased runoff in streams , nullah and other channels . Disruptions of essential services viz . water , electricity and communications systems in mid and high hills of the state . Blockages of National and State Highways creating difficulty for tourist and public at large .
