Wildlife Wing rescues an injured leopard near Renukaji

Wildlife Wing rescued a leopard in injured condition from near Gaonda School of Forest Division Renukaji. In fact, seeing a leopard in the bushes of Lantana, which is called Kesu in the local dialect, the villagers informed the police and the forest department about it.

 Seeing the leopard at the back side of the school, the parents got scared and the teachers also dismissed the children. After some time, the leopard was brought to Renuka Ji Zoo by the Wildlife Wing, Forest Department, and Police personnel who reached the spot with full preparation, where it is being treated regularly by veterinary doctors.

 RO Nand Lal and BO Virendra Kumar of the Wildlife Department said that the reason for the leopard being unable to walk could be a paralysis attack. He said that his age could be around 5 years and the detailed information can be given only by the experts.

 On the other hand, there are discussions in the village that it might have been injured due to a collision with a vehicle, although according to the forest personnel, the marks on its hind legs could be of dragging.
