SW monsoon starts receding Deficient rainfall Chamba, Solan , Lahaul Spiti & Sirmaur

South West Monsoon started receding in the state from some places the Met Officesaid that cumulative monsoon activity (01.06.2021 to 16.09.2021) remained normal in HimachalPradesh except Chamba, Solan, Lahaul-Spiti and Sirmaur where rainfall is deficient to largedeficient. 
The Met Office said that state had 15 percent deficient (departure) rainfall as state recorded 612 mm rainfall fromJun 1 to  Sep 16 compared to 721.8 mm rainfall. .
Monsoon activity remained large excess in Himachal Pradesh during past week except district
Bilaspur where rainfall was deficient. Rainfall of moderate intensity occurred at many places inthe state with isolated spells of heavy rainfall in parts of district Shimla, Mandi, Kangra, andSirmaur. 
State received normal rainfall in Himachal Pradesh during the past 24 hrs except Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur,Bilaspur. District Chamba and Shimla, received deficient rainfall. The rainfall of moderate intensity occurred at many places in the state with isolated spells of heavy rainfall in parts of district Shimla, Mandi, Kangra, and Sirmaur.. Sujanpur in Hamirpur district got chief amount of 50. 9 mm rainfallSolan 33.7 mm, Nahan in Sirmuar 31.2 mm, Mandi 28.4 mm, Jogindernagar 24 mm.
Latest monsoon circulation patterns indicates delayed withdrawal of monsoon from Northwest
India including Himachal Pradesh ( H.P) with likely withdrawal by end September or beginningof October leading to some rainfall activities during the third or fourth week of September 2021.
The Well marked Low Pressure Area over central parts of north Madhya Pradesh and neighborhood with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. It is very likely to weaken gradually during next 23 days
The monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Dwarka, Ahmedabad, centre of
Well marked Low Pressure Area over central parts of north Madhya Pradesh &neighbourhood, Sidhi, Daltonganj, Balasore and thence southeast wards to EastcentralBay of Bengal and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Met Office said that weak or lean monsoon conditions likely in Himachal Pradesh during next 48-72 hrs or so with isolated to scattered rainfall in parts of lower and mid hills during this period. 
Rainfall activities likely to increase around 19th September 2021 for subsequent 48 hrs with moderate rainfall ( 2-4 cm) likely to occur in many parts of the state. 
One or two spells of heavy rainfall ( more than 7cm) likely in district in lower and mid hills viz Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla, Chamba, Kangra, adjoining area. Light rainfall also likely to occur in parts of districts of Lahual Spiti and Kinnaur during this period
 Advisories for Heavy rain : Visibility conditions likely to decrease in view of occurrence or prevalence of foggyconditions with difficulties to commuters, public at large in hilly area or district. 
Warning of traffic congestion and water accumulation in low lying areas and possibility of landslides wereissued by the Met Office..
One should check for traffic congestion on the route before leaving destination. Follow anytraffic advisories that are issued in this regard. Avoid going to areas that face water logging problem, Met Official said.
