Cloudburst in a village of Sirmaur district of Himachal
Monsoon continue wreaking havoc in the hill state as causing loss of life and property for last threemonths, there are fresh report of cloud burst in a village of Sirmuar district last night destroyed the crops and ariableland in the village.
Spoeksperson of State Emergency Operation Centre Mr Sudesh Mokta said that cloudburst at villatge Chamyar KorudNihog in Nahan Tehsil of Sirmaur district at 2005 last night.
As per the information received here from district headquarter Sirmaur said that incident of cloud bursts occurred at Chamyar village due to which most of the people’s land and corps have been destroyed.
District Administration has been informed the concern department about the mishap . The Met office said that monsoon was vigorous int he state as most places of state lashed with rainfall during last 24 hrs.
Slapper had 50 mm rain, Baijnath in Kangra 45 mm, Bilaspur 37 mm, Manali , Kothi in Kullu and Rajgarh in Sirmaur 18 mm each, Sarahan and Sangrah nine mm each, Dharmshala and Palampur in Kangra five mm, Berthin in Bilaspurfour mm and Rampur in Shimla.
The Met Office have given warning of heavy rainfall in Kangra, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur district and forecast of rain and thunderstorm at many places in the mid and foot hills and few places in the high reaches of the state in next 24 hrs.
Seasonal rainfall deficit by minus 13 per cent.
The Monsoon season recorded about 642. 9mm rainfall since Jun 1 to Sep 21 compared to normal 737 mm, which is still deficient by minus 13 per cent,
Lahaul Spiit have highest deficient rainfall and Kullu highest execss, Lahaul Spiti, ChambaSolan and Sirmaur have deficinet rainfall and Kangra, Bilaspur Una, Hamipur Shimla and Kinnuarhad normal rainfall.
Report said that Lahaul Spiti was deficient recorded minus 69 per cent ( total rainfall 115mm) less
rainfall , Chamba minus 43 ( 581.7 mm), Sirmaur minus 33 pc( 1024 .8 mm) and Solan minus 20 pc(765 mm) .
Kullu have excess rainfall by 40 per cent( 678.6 mm) however Una have minus 15 pc ( 668.9 mm) normal rainfall followed by Bilaspur eight pc( 776.2 mm) and Kangra minus eight per cent( 1438.5 mm) , Kinnuar minus six pc ( 217.1 mm), Hamipur minus four pc( 948.3 mm), Shimla one pc ( 626.5 mm) .
