Kriti Chandel awarded by the United National World Tourism Organization

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated young entrepreneur Kriti Chandel of Bilaspur district for getting an award from the United National World Tourism Organization on World Tourism Day recently for the promotion of Artificial Intelligence in the tourism sector.

The Chief Minister said that it was a matter of pride for the State and the people of the State were proud of her feat at the International level, as this will encourage other girls to work hard to fulfill their dreams and bring laurels to the State and their families.  

 

Kirti Chandel, a young entrepreneur from Himachal Pradesh, has been honored by the United Nations for the services of the Artificial Intelligence she invented for tourism. Kirti Chandel has invented a technique called Woo-hoo, like Google Elska. Kirti has formed a company named Sparkle Hedge in Singapore.

This company provides services to tourists traveling around the world through Artificial Intelligence. The company’s Woo-Hoo technology keeps us informed about the tastes of tourists globally, their lifestyle, their nature, and their favorite places and takes care of the comforts.

At the event on the occasion of Tourism Day in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) appreciated and honored the services of Kirti Chandel and also praised Kirti as a young female entrepreneur. This is a new step towards women’s empowerment.

Presently, with the support of the Government of Singapore, Kirti has toured many countries of South East Asia and Europe and proved her Artificial Intelligence and Woo-hoo services. Kirti has received many honors last year also.

A local Government Senior Secondary School student for Girls, Kirti did her B.Tech from Baddi University and M.Tech in Missile Communication from Kurukshetra University. She had worked for Smart Bing, a USA-based company, and then shifted to Singapore. She is the partner head of Woo-Hoo Al company, which provides consultancy to the Government of Singapore on Artificial Intelligence.

Kirti’s father Pardeep Singh Chandel is an advocate and her mother Madhu Chandel is a housewife. Kirti wants to establish a center of quality education at Bilaspur and has offered to extend every possible help required for this purpose.
