Milestone achieved by mini blue-chip President of India apprised by SJVNL-CMD
President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, during an recent Official visit to the State was apprised by Nand Lal Sharma, CMD of SJVN about various milestones achieved by the mini-bluechip firm. A press release issued by the SJVNL said here today that Mr Sharma apprised President of India during a courtesy call on Sep 18 about status and progress of various Projects of SJVN in India & abroad.
Mr Sharma said that SJVN is working relentlessly to achieve the target of 24X7 “Power for All” set by Hon’ble Prime Minister and to ensure that the benefits of the power and energy sector reach the common man.
He further said that with an installed capacity of 2016.5 MW, SJVN is working on an ambitious plan to become a 25000 MW Company by 2040. SJVN has emerged as a major power player in the country having presence in various sectors of energy generation which includes Hydro, Wind,Solar & Thermal. The company also has a presence in the field of Energy Transmission.
SJVN has always been in the forefront in supporting the society and the government in facing various issues which affect the Nation and fellow countrymen and firm has also liberally extended support in the fight against the pandemic of Covid-19, he added.
